BIRMINGHAM FOCUSED BUT SO MANY INJURIES
Going to watch Birmingham-Bolton FA Cup quarter final at St.Andrew's on Saturday lunch-time.One of my twin sons Laurence is an ESPN cameraman at the match.I don't know what sort of team Alex McLeish will field. He has a stack of injuries including his inspirational mid-fielder Barry Ferguson who has a broken rib. Also McLeish, who has done an excellent job at the Blues, has survival in the Premier League as his priority now that he has the Carling Cup.But it will need to be a strong side to knock-out Bolton who look good under manager Owen Coyle. We will see.By the way my other twin son Neil is an actor-google him!-and was striker Luke Davonport in the Sky football series Dream Team.He once told the Daily Star that one of the few football matches he had attended was at Birmingham a few years ago where he found himself joining in with the home crowd singing "Gary Newbon is a *anker!"
