BIRMINGHAM WIN CARLING CUP...FIRST MAJOR TROPHY FOR 48 YEARS

Birmingham deserved to win the Carling Cup.Sure they had some luck with the winner but they were unlucky early doors when Lee Bowyer was not offside as given and should been awarded a penalty with the Arsenal goalie Szczesny red-carded but it didn't happen.Birmingham fans have waited..and waited..and waited for something like this.They will really appreciate it and enjoy the event.The Blues are not an outstanding side but but their spirit is enormous and it is great for their club and the West Midlands.Once a goal came a poor final turned into a very good one.I was lucky enough to watch the match from the Royal Box.It is some stadium with a great view from everywhere!
